While searching around the “WWW” I came across this article called “What’s The Inspiration For These Dual Sport-Style Motorcycles In Animated Media?” written by Steve DaSilva for jalopnik.com It caught my curiosity and clicked the headline. What I found was a cool story about how Steve feels that the Yamaha TW200 is the leading inspiration behind some the motorcycles portrayed in anime media.
That would be an easy grasp as the tiny 196cc dual sport motorcycle has been in production from Japan since 1987 – and is still made in Japan! It may very well be the commuter of many of these anime artist! That would be a cool interview with those artist! The TDUB is such the “cult bike” in Japan!
